Metabolic Health

The wellbeing of our metabolism is the ultimate determination of our health or disease.

Metabolism is a collection of processes that involve the converting food to energy, the regulation of bodily processes and the maintenance of healthy cellular function. Metabolic health is concerned with blood sugar control, fatty acid synthesis and breakdown, hormone regulation, stress, genetics, circulation and blood flow, the immune system, mental health and how we use and create energy in every cell. All of these can be tested, assessed and addressed in the metabolic approach to any disease. It is my goal to optimize the body’s own ability to heal by attending to its overall metabolic health.
